ODA Update
April 9, 2001

The Throne Speech will begin at 1:30 p.m. on Thursday, April 19, 2001 at Queen's Park, Toronto.

If you wish to join us to watch the Throne Speech, please arrive at the Ontario Legislature Building at 1:00 p.m.

Go to the main lobby. We will have volunteers to direct you to the accessible rooms where we will watch the Throne Speech on television monitors.

Hard as it is to believe, the actual galleries to the Ontario Legislature are still inaccessible to persons with mobility disabilities, except for about three seats. We have made these arrangements for people with any kind of disability.

If you are volunteering to help us with this event, please arrive at the main lobby of the Legislature Building at 12:30 noon that day.

If you need directions, contact (416) 325-7500, the public relations office for the Legislature. That office is not involved in making arrangements for us, but can give you information on how to find the Legislature.
