Advocating for a Strong & Effective ODA

Announcement

If you are in the southwest part of Ontario, you will be especially interested to learn that the TV current affairs show "Inquiry" on the New PL, airing Saturday March 25 at 6:30 pm, will focus on the ODA.

Confirmed guests are Citizenship Minister Helen Johns, Liberal Disability Critic Steve Peters and journalist Lynne Swanson.

This is especially significant since the citizenship Minister has to our knowledge not participated in this kind of program on the ODA in the media, nor did her predecessors Isabel Bassett and Marilyn Mushinski.

PLEASE spread the word. And if you are able, tape the show for others!

It is also noteworthy that for the first time during Steve Peters' ODA public consultation tour, a Conservative MPP, Brenda Elliott, attended a public consultation session. This occurred at the Tuesday, March 21, 2000 public hearings in Guelph.
