After Bill 125, the proposed Ontarians with Disabilities Act, received second reading in the Ontario Legislature, it was referred to the Legislature's Standing Committee on Finance and Economic Affairs for public hearings and clause-by-clause debate. Below are links to each day of that Committee's proceeding. On the first, day, November 29, 2001, the Committee dealt with its procedural issues. Then The Committee held six days of hearings across Ontario from November 30, 2001 to December 7, 2001. Finally, the Committee held one day of "Clause-by-Clause Debate" on December 11, 2001. It was on that day that the Committee considered and voted on amendments to the bill. Nov.
