MORE DETAILS
There are only eight more days until the Eves Government's April 30, 2003 Throne Speech. Many across Ontario have already joined in our campaign by emailing Premier Eves, urging him to commit in the Throne Speech to strengthening the ODA.
We need you to do so too, and to get others to do the same. You can email him at:
If you don't have time to write a longer note, all you need to send is one sentence, such as:
Premier Eves, please commit in your April 30 Throne Speech to amending the Ontarians with Disabilities Act 2001 to make it strong and effective.
Already emails have gone to the Premier supporting our campaign from all over Ontario, from individuals and organizations, including from members of local municipal accessibility advisory committees. These committees were established under the Ontarians with Disabilities Act 2001. Their practical experience shows that this legislation needs to be amended to strengthen it.
