April 17, 2003SUMMARY
Citizenship Minister DeFaria has sent a short letter to the ODA Committee dated April 4, 2003, set out below. It replies to the ODA Committee's detailed letter to him dated April 3, 2003.Our April 3, 2003 letter to the Minister had summarized the content of our recent meeting with him. It had listed several important issues on which we were seeking his responses, his commitments and his action.
In this April 4, 2003 letter to us, the Minister says that our meeting with him was "productive" and says "I am reviewing the items outlined in your letter and will reply to you in more detail shortly."
