Dear Mr. Lepofsky,

Reference is made to your letters to the Minister of Citizenship,
Culture, and Recreation, the Hon. Helen Johns, dated July 28, 2000
and August 11, 2000.

This is to confirm your meeting with the Minister on Friday,
September 8th, 2000 at 10:00 a.m. As noted in my earlier
correspondence, we look forward to meeting with five (5) members of
your committee at this meeting. At your request, this
ministry will provide American Sign Language interpretation and
real time captioning.

The Minister welcomes your participation in the ongoing
consultative process of the development of the Ontarians with
Disabilities Act. She views this as an opportunity for you, and
other members of your committee, to make representations with
respect to any changes that you may wish to make to your
previous presentations. As well, this meeting will also allow you
to bring to the Minister's attention any suggested new
programs that you may have in mind.
