New ODA Bill 125
ODA COMMITTEE UPDATE

December 3, 2001

ODA COMMITTEE WILL MAKE PRESENTATION ON BILL 125 TO
LEGISLATURE'S STANDING COMMITTEE ON DECEMBER 5, 2001
AT 4 PM

Today, the International Day for Persons with Disabilities, we have
just had it confirmed that the ODA Committee will make a 20 minute
presentation to the Legislature's Standing Committee on Finance
this Wednesday, December 5, 2001 at 4 pm.

The hearings are in the Legislature Building, Queen's Park, Toronto
in Room 151. We really encourage you to come to show your support,
if you are in the Toronto area and can make it. If you cannot come, we
are told that these hearings are shown on the cable Legislature channel
live.

We also encourage you to stay for the rest of the presentations
that day (4 to 6 pm) and to attend the other Toronto sessions,
Tuesday December 4, 9 a.m. to noon and 4 to 6 pm, as well as the
full hearings on Wed., December 5, during the same two time slots.

Spread the word and get others to come too! Let's show that there
is strong support for our call for amendments to Bill 125 to make
it strong and effective.
