Dear Premier Harris:

Re: Ontarians with Disabilities Act

A resolution in support of an Ontarians with Disabilities Act has been filed by Liberal disability critic Steve Peters. The debate and vote on the resolution are scheduled for the afternoon of Tuesday, November 23, 1999. The resolution states: "An Ontarians with Disabilities Act that is strong and effective should be enacted no later than two years from today, November 23, 1999."

We are writing to ask that you and all members of the Legislature from the Conservative Party attend this debate, speak in support of this resolution, and vote in support of it.

Please let us know whether you and your caucus will be attending the debate and supporting the resolution. We hope that this important resolution will win unanimous support in the Legislature on November 23, 1999.

Sincerely,

David Lepofsky, CM
Chair, Ontarians with Disabilities Act Committee
