Dear Mr. Lepofsky:

Thank you for your letter of March 22 requesting a meeting with Premier Harris to discuss the proposed Ontarians with Disabilities Act.

Our government remains committed to eliminating barriers for people with disabilities. That is why the Honourable Helen Johns, Minister of Citizenship, Culture and Recreation, has met with you and members of your organization on numerous occasions and is willing to do so again. Minister Johns is currently undertaking a consultation process so that she can develop and introduce a new disabilities action plan this session and is, therefore, the most appropriate person to address your concerns.

I would encourage you to follow up with Minister Johns's office at (416) 325-6200.

Sincerely,
Chris Breen
Director Tour and Public Events

c: The Honourable Helen Johns
