The Honourable Helen Johns,

Toronto, Ontario M7A 2R9Dear Minister,
Re: Ontarians with Disabilities Act
Thank you for contacting me by phone on July 27, 1999 for an introductory chat. We appreciate your getting in touch so quickly after receiving my July 26, 1999 letter.
We welcome your invitation to have a delegation from the ODA Committee meet with you during the last week of August or second week of September. This is a good opportunity, as you suggested, for us to discuss the best way to proceed with the Government's consultation on the ODA.
As I said during our conversation, we are eager to give this matter a fresh start, and to roll up our sleeves and get right to work on this important endeavour. Your openness to receive our advice and help was appreciated.
Sincerely,
David Lepofsky, CM,
