The Honourable Helen Johns
Minister of Citizenship,
Culture and Recreation
400 University Avenue, 6th Floor
Toronto, Ontario
M7A 2R9Dear Minister
I am writing as a followup to a conversation that I had with your scheduler last week. Having not received a response from you to my April 24, 2000 letter in which we requested a meeting with you, I
contacted your scheduler to see if a meeting could be arranged prior to May 24. I was advised that you were fully booked until after May 29.We understand that you have a very busy schedule. However, we would appreciate it if you could find an hour in your schedule before May 24, since I am unavailable from then until the end of June. As I am sure you recall, the Premier's office suggested that we meet with you to get information on our inquiries about the status of your work on the Ontarians with Disabilities Act. We are anxious to meet with you as soon as possible because it has been announced that you would have an action plan concerning the Ontarians with Disabilities Act completed and made public by June.
We would like to meet with you before that plan is finalized, in order to have a meaningful opportunity for input into it.
We look forward to hearing from you as soon as possible.
Yours sincerely,
David Lepofsky, CM,
